EVENT SCHEDULE
The MLQ Championship will feature a play-in bracket and a championship bracket—an explanation of how teams were seeded can be found here. The East Division Champion, the New York Titans, selected their opponent, the Detroit Innovators.
On Saturday morning of the MLQ Championship, the six 3 and 4 seeds will play in a qualification bracket for one of two play-in spots in the quarterfinals. One and two seeds from each division will receive an automatic bye to the quarterfinals, and be placed in specific spots based on our Divisional Coefficient, which ranks our divisions based on past performance. On Saturday afternoon, the four quarterfinals will be played in a best-of-three series.
The four teams that win their quarterfinal matchups advance to the semifinals on Sunday, where they will play another team in a best-of-three series. The winners of the two semifinals advance to the best-of-three final on Sunday.
The three-team MLQ Next Gen Showcase will also take place on Sunday morning. The Next Gen Showcase highlights the future of MLQ: our practice squad athletes. The event will take place day two on Pitch Two while the Benepe Cup continues on Pitch One by Diaza.
